Cars and ice cream meet in Burton

BURTON, Ohio – The 2003 old car and truck show ice cream social will be July 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Classic and vintage cars will be on display at Geauga County Historical Society’s Century Village Museum.

The first 100 old cars will receive a dash plaque. Trophies will be awarded to the best Chrysler, General Motors, and Ford cars.

Other categories. There will also be a category for other makes, best of show, truck class, and the best street rod.

Commemorative T-shirts will be given to the winner of the longest distance and the oldest car.

Cost. Registration for each vehicle is $2. One driver and guest will be admitted free. General admission for the show is $5 for adults and children under 12 are admitted free.

Century Village Museum is located at the intersection of state Routes 87 and 168 in Burton, Ohio.

All proceeds from this event go to maintaining and preserving the museum.
