German Chocolate Pie

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup pecan pieces
  • 1/4 cup coconut

Directions:

  1. Combine the melted margarine and cocoa. Mix all ingredients together, beating until well mixed. Pour into an unbaked 9” pie shell. Bake at 400°F for 15 minutes, reduce heat to 325°F and bake until set in center of pie, but not as firm as the edge.
