Underground railroad bus tour coming in September

WARREN, Ohio — To celebrate International Underground Railroad History Month in September, the Trumbull County Historical Society will host its bi-annual Underground Railroad Bus Tour of Trumbull County Sept. 5 and 12 starting at 10 a.m.

This tour will teach participants about the bravery of Freedom Seekers who sought the aid of local abolitionists and includes a special behind-the-scenes tour of one of the historic properties.

The tour is around 2 hours long. Spots are limited, and registration is required. The tour begins at the Trumbull County Tourism Bureau located at 321 Mahoning Ave. NW in Warren, Ohio. Tickets are $50 per person.
