Faith and Bob Creswell were classmates. In October 1939, their sophomore year, Bob wanted to take Faith to the school’s Halloween party, but was too shy to ask her. Bob had his classmate, Harold Braden, ask Faith for him. They were married on October 12, 1945. The couple is currently enjoying the sunshine at their winter home in Florida.

The Millers, both now 85, met at a festival in Shanesville (Sugarcreek), Ohio, in September 1951, and married Aug. 2, 1952. Incidentally, Miriam was at the festival with her girlfriend, Maxine Immel, and Don was at the festival with his friend, the late Wayne Gerber. They also fell in love and married March 16, 1952. The Millers lived on the farm that had been in Don’s family for five generations.
This photo of Charles and Margaret Addicott was taken in Holton, Kansas after the couple married on August 22, 1951. Charles was in the army and stationed at Ft. Riley, Kansas. After his discharge, be began working on a ranch. The rancher was buying some hogs and needed Charles to pick them up. The person selling the hogs was Margaret’s father. The couple now lives in Fowler, Ohio.
