PENINSULA, Ohio — The Cuyahoga Valley Countryside Conservancy’s FarmLink program is hosting a “speed dating” workshop May 3 for beginning farmers and retiring farmers/landowners in northeast Ohio.

Not actually a dating service, the workshop will feature experts on farm financing, estate planning, business planning, farm transition, land conservation options, start-up funding and marketing options for local growers.

Participants will schedule 10-minute one-on-one sessions with the experts and discuss resources and advice regarding the farmer’s particular situation.

It will take place in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
