Dairy advocate group presents contract with producers

FRESNO, Calif. — The National Dairy Producers Organization Inc. recently introduced its Contract with Producers during a nationwide conference call with dairy producers.

Details

The contract identifies eight tasks that the organization is committed to accomplishing in its endeavor to achieve producer profitability. The contract also identifies the top 10 issues that are impacting the dairy industry. The National Dairy Producers Organization Inc. plans to implement immediate changes based on these issues.

The board members will meet Feb. 8-10 at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, Calif. to sign the contract as part of their annual meeting. The contract can be reviewed at www.nationaldairyproducers.org.

Purpose

The National Dairy Producers Organization is a producer-led organization whose efforts aim to improve the price of milk for U.S. dairy producers and remove extreme volatility in the dairy industry.
