SPRINGFIELD, Ohio — The Northwestern FFA chapter held its winter meeting Dec. 15.

Among items covered were details for the project tour to be held in the summer; nearly 1,000 boxes of fruit sold during this year’s fruit sales; the county and district parliamentary procedure contest, where Northwestern varsity and novice teams placed first at both the county and district contests; and the chapter’s dodgeball tournament, from which $240 was donated to the American Cancer Society.

ASHLAND, Ohio — The Crestview FFA traveled to Northmor High School Dec. 4 and participated in the sub-district parliamentary procedure contest. Both the junior and senior teams finished first in sub-districts and second in district competition Dec. 8. On Dec. 20 both teams competed at the state parliamentary procedure contest. The Crestview senior team placed second and the junior team third.

JEROMESVILLE, Ohio — The Hillsdale FFA Nursery and Landscaping team competed on Dec. 18 at the state competition in Columbus. The team, which studies plants and diseases common in landscapes that can harm plants, placed second at the competition.
