- 2 1/2 s water
- 2 teaspoons instant chicken bouillon
- 2 to 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon curry
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
- 1/3 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup rice
- 1/2 raisins
Bring water, bouillon, butter, curry, turmeric, and salt to boil in medium saucepan. Stir in rice, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn off heat. Stir in raisins. Let stand covered on stove burner for 5 minutes. Fluff with fork then serve.
