Perfect Baked Rice

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups dry parboiled or Ben’s Original Rice
  • 6 Tbsp. butter, melted.
  • 24 oz. chicken broth
  • 2 3/4 cups water
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 3/4 tsp. Lawry’s seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp. chicken flavored soup base

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. In a 4-quart baking dish add rice and butter. Mix until well coated.
  3. Add chicken broth, water, seasonings and mix lightly. Cover tightly and bake for exactly 1 1/2 hours. Do not uncover or stir at any time until ready to serve.
  4. Makes 4 quarts.
