Coke, er, milk: It’s the real thing. Coke is betting its new Fairlife milk will rejuvenate a stale dairy case. It’s been re-engineered with longer shelf life, less sugar, added vitamin A, D and it’s lactose free. Now, can Coke’s marketing machine get consumers over the sticker shock? It’s $4.59 per half gallon, about twice as much as regular milk. Farm Futures has more.

Groceries delivered via… Amazon? The online retail giant Amazon is testing what it calls Farmers Market Direct in certain areas of Southern California. The Consumerist reports the program – which is a partnership with Fresh Nation – is advertised as delivering baskets of fresh produce to consumers just hours after its been harvested.

Forgo the venti. A 12-year study indicates that young adults with high blood pressure may be at an increased risk for heart problems if they drink four or more cups of coffee per day. Via United Press International.
