BURTON, Ohio — Flockmasters 4-H club had a chili cook-off at the Jan. 10 meeting.

After the meeting, the club heard a report on the science of meat.

Meetings will be on the second Tuesday of the month in the school building on the fairgrounds. Officers will meet at 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7 p.m.

BROOKFIELD, Ohio — The Brookfield 4-H Friends club holds its monthly meetings at the Brookfield United Methodist Church. In December new officers were elected. Officers include: Josh James, president; Lauren Almasy, vice president; Chloe Record, secretary; Tino Defalco, treasurer; Connor Dixon, news reporter; Thomas Almasy, recreation; Josie Wagner, health officer; and Samantha Beckinger, safety officer.

Meg Harper, Mae Harper and Ashley Slivinsko did a presentation on hamsters Jan. 5.
