A roundup of FFA news for the week of June 19, 2008

ALLIANCE, Ohio — The Marlington FFA held its monthly meeting at the horticulture building.

Items on the agenda included: volunteering at the humane society; organizing the fair booth; and the upcoming benefit square dance at 8:30 p.m. June 28 at the Nimishillen Grange. It is a benefit for Akron Children’s Hospital.

There will be snacks, refreshments and a raffle.

CASTALIA, Ohio, — Margaretta FFA’s 2008-2009 officer team met June 6 to discuss ideas for the upcoming school year.

The officers discussed dates to have a summer meeting and the date is still to be determined. Members will receive a letter in the mail when the date is decided.
