BEVERLY, Ohio — Fort Frye FFA members attended the Washington County soil judging competition Sept. 13. They received first place in the rural competition and fifth in the urban competition. Kylie Seese received second out of all participating students.

ALBANY, Ohio — The Alexander FFA officers attended the Colt Conference, Sept. 7. The keynote, Andrew McCrea, discussed the importance of utilizing the special qualities of each member in the chapter.

The officer team learned team-building and leadership skills.

The team includes; president Jacob Smith, vice president Jed Anderson, treasurer Austin Crabtree, secretary Lindsey Petty, sentinel Lyman Kennedy, reporter Shelby Ervin and committee chairs Kaitlin Mullins, Casey Davis and Jessica Jakubiec.
