WOOSTER, Ohio – The first-ever Poultry Youth Extension Workshop will be held March 20 at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center’s Wooster campus.

The workshop will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to all ages.

Lineup. Throughout the day, breakout sessions will cover an array of topics from poultry involvement opportunities to poultry rearing and management to preparing birds for show.

Displays also will be exhibited, including poultry vendors, a 4-H skill-a-thon kit, a live-duck display, and information on 2004 shows and events.

This workshop should help small flock enthusiasts with questions they may have on health, nutrition, management, incubation and showing.

A $10 registration fee will be in place for attendees 10 and older; $5 for attendees under 10. Registration fees include lunch.

The event will be held at Fisher Auditorium on OARDC’s Wooster campus. For additional information contact John Anderson at 330-263-3753.
