Can’T Get Enough Bar Cookies!
A crispy yet chewy combination of oats and brown sugar. Makes 2 dozen cookies.
Ingredients
- 1/2 margarine, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Directions
Melt butter or margarine over low heat. Remove from heat and mix with brown sugar and salt. Mix in oats and baking powder. Press onto greased 9x13-inch cookie sheet. Bake at 400° until melted together and lightly brown, about 8 minutes. Watch carefully! Cut while hot.
