New Year’s Dip

Ingredients:

  • 7 slices of bacon
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 5.3 oz Boursin cheese garlic and herbs, softened
  • 2 cups freshly shredded cheddar cheese
  • 3 stalks of green onions sliced
  • ¼ tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 10.5 oz red pepper jelly

Directions:

  1. Line your baking sheet with a baking rack and lay your bacon slices on the baking rack. Cook the bacon in the oven at 400 F for about 15-20 minutes or until it’s brown. Once the bacon is done, chop it up and set it aside.
  2. In a bowl, add cream cheese, Boursin cheese, chopped cooked bacon, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onions and cracked black pepper. Mix that together until combined.
  3. Transfer the cream cheese mixture into a pie plate or baking dish and bake it in the oven at 375 F for 20 to 25 minutes until bubbly.
  4. Microwave the red pepper jelly in a microwave-safe bowl or measuring cup for about 30 seconds, just until pourable.
  5. Pour the red pepper jelly over the dip and garnish it with additional green onions. Serve with crackers.
