2016 Pond Clinic

The Columbiana County Soil and Water Conservation District will be hosting a Pond Clinic on March 24th, 2016 at the Leetonia Sportsman’s Club, 311 East High Street, Leetonia, Ohio 44431.

The evening speakers will be Steve Prebonick, ODNR State Soil Scientist and Steve Fender, of Fenders Fish Hatchery in Baltic Ohio. The topics covered will include, correct pond location and soil type, seasonal pond changes, managing aquatic vegetation, fish stocking and fish management and much more. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with registration from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
