An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe returns
CLEVELAND — The Garfield Trail along with James A. Garfield Alliance announced the popular “An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe” is returning this September. The nation’s foremost Poe presenter, David Keltz, will appear as Edgar Allan Poe, one of President and Mrs. James A. Garfield’s favorite fiction authors.
Performances will be held at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Sept. 24, 25 and 26. The 6 p.m. shows will feature the epic poem, The Raven, and the story Pit and Pendulum. The 8 p.m. show will also feature The Raven and Hop-Frog.
The cost is $30 per person per show. Ticket includes refreshments and an open house tour of the Garfield home. The event is open to the general public. Tickets can be purchased online at www.garfieldtrail.org/event-list.
