Enjoy a summer evening at Waterworth Memorial Park on June 22, 2016 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. as Richelle, a naturalist from Beaver Creek State Park, leads us on a hike along the nature trail to identify wildflowers. Bring friends and family along to make the outing extra special. The program is another in the series of Go Wild in the Park programs selected to provide a learning experience related to nature. Registration is encouraged through the library’s website, www.salem.lib.oh.us or by calling the library at 330-332-0042 or Shane Franks of the Salem Parks Department at 330-332-5512. Please wear comfortable shoes. Insect repellent is recommended.
Richelle has been with Beaver Creek State Park since 2008 and enjoys teaching about the outdoors. She has a degree in environmental sciences and a minor in biology.
Go Wild in the Park programming is provided to the public through a partnership of Salem Parks and Recreation Department and Salem Public Library for the enrichment of the Salem community.
