The Portage County Historical Society will host a free Christmas Open House, Saturday, December 12, 2015 from 2 to 5 p.m. The Society, located at 6549 North Chestnut Street in Ravenna, Ohio, will have the two historic homes, the two barns, Boy Scout museum building, pre-Columbian Indian Village, log cabin and the museum open for tours. Light refreshments will be available; there will be raffle prizes and more. The museum is handicap accessible. The Indian Village is a full-size re-creation of an early Ohio settlement.
