Intro to Kayaking Splash. Step into the exhilarating world of kayaking from 6-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 27 at Sippo Lake Marina. Led by experienced instructors, this beginner class is designed for individuals eager to explore the fundamentals of kayaking. Beginning on land, participants will learn the essentials of trip planning, types of paddling equipment, and key safety practices while paddling. Then, take these newfound skills onto the water as the group practices basic paddling techniques to kayak with confidence. No prior experience is necessary. All necessary equipment is provided. Kayak maximum weight capacity is 275 pounds. Fees are $15 for in-county residents and $20 for out-of-county residents.
