WATERFORD, Ohio — Aliah Encinias, Breanna Encinias and Gavinn Tornes, all members of the the Waterford FFA Chapter, convened in Washington, D.C., this summer to analyze their personal skills and interests, develop leadership skills and a create a community-service plan that will make a difference in their home communities.

More than 1,800 students are registered for the 2015 Washington Leadership Conference, the second-largest student experience that the National FFA Organization hosts.


ASHLAND, Ohio — The Crestview FFA Chapter held its combined July swim party and open house on July 23.

All enrolled FFA members and their families were invited to have a meal, followed by a parents’ meeting sharing what the club had been doing and plans for the upcoming year.

Chapter officers also gave new members a tour of the livestock lab, greenhouse and shop. Members ended the evening with water games.
