Auctions feature farm, restaurant equipment

– Auctioneer Nick Cummings of Schrader Real Estate and Auction Company Inc. of Columbia City, Ind., held the Kinzer farm equipment auction Sept. 3 in Greenfield, Ohio.

The highest selling item was an Agco 9635 tractor that sold for $34,250.

Other top sellers included a Gleaner R-52 combine for $18,500; a John Deere 4430 tractor with duals for $9,500; a Gleaner 6R narrow corn head for $9,000 and a Field Queen forage chopper for $8,000.

Kaufman Auctions of Sugarcreek, Ohio, held the Grandma’s Alpine Homestead (formerly known as Alpine Alpa) restaurant equipment auction Aug. 22 in Wilmot, Ohio.

Highlights include the world’s largest cuckoo clock that sold for $15,000; a coin-operated Umpa band for $3,000; an alphorn man for $2,750 and a Tom Miller production for $550.
