Beaver Co. woman honored at farm show

HARRISBURG, Pa. – Agriculture Secretary Dennis Wolff recognized Geri Moore of Hookstown, Beaver County, as the winner of the Farm Show Service Award at the 2008 Pennsylvania Farm Show Jan. 4, in Harrisburg.
Contributions. “Geri’s dedication to the Farm Show has made her an obvious choice for this award, having made significant contributions to the family living department during the past five years,” said Wolff.
“Always very modest, Geri contributes the successes to the group who helped her expand the department to nearly 4,000 exhibits.”
