The Northwest Pennsylvania Cattlemen’s Association held its first ever Burger Cook-off Challenge Sept. 7. Thirteen teams served up their best hamburgers to a panel of judges and when it was over, McCullough’s Ice Cream Shoppe of Stoneboro, Pa., came out on top. Members of the winning team were Adam McCullough, Michael Chess, Mark Chess and Mike Rodemeyer. The cook-off was held at McCullough’s Coolspring Farm Market near Mercer, Pa. (The winning team is not related to the owners of the farm.)
