HARRISBURG, Pa. — The Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association are offering up to 10 $3,000 Student Leader Scholarships to undergraduate students for the 2017-2018 academic year.
To qualify, students must demonstrate a commitment to working in the dairy industry. The purpose of these scholarships are to provide recognition, encouragement, and financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled in academic programs that support the dairy industry.
One scholarship will be designated for an incoming freshman. Consideration for this scholarship will be given to Pennsylvania residents who are full-time undergraduate students planning to enroll or currently enrolled in a qualifying field of study which includes: dairy and animal Science, ag marketing and business, nutrition, food science, ag and Extension education, ag Business management, and ag engineering.
Student can only receive the $3,000 scholarship one time during their undergraduate academic career. Students employed by the Center for Dairy Excellence as an intern or in another capacity are not eligible.
Application must be made using the Student Leader Scholarship Application form provided by the Center for Dairy Excellence Foundation of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association. All applications must be typed, and word count requirements observed.
