BURTON, Ohio — Geauga Beef and Swine held its meeting July 16 at the school building on the Geauga County Fairgrounds.
Savanah Laurenty gave her report on selecting a steer and on showing pigs.
Aubrey Laurenty gave a report on the Yorkshire Breed.
The club discussed buyers’ gifts and the barn decorations. They also took up a food collection for the Fighting Hunger food drive and voted on the Geauga County Junior Fair Queen and King candidates.
The next meeting will be Aug. 13. Members will work on swine showmanship.
