Wrapped Prosciutto Bundles


  • 2 tsp. butter of your choice, melted
  • 2 tsp. garlic minced
  • 16 asparagus spears, woody ends snapped off and discarded
  • 8 slices prosciutto


  1. Add garlic to melted butter and mix together. Brush the butter mixture over each asparagus spear, coating evenly.
  2. Slice each prosciutto slice in half lengthways. Wrap each asparagus spear starting on a diagonal angle from the top, gently and reasonably tightly to the bottom.
  3. Preheat the grill or broiler to high heat. Lightly grease a baking sheet or tray with cooking oil spray.
  4. Arrange the wrapped spears in a single layer on the baking sheet; season with cracked pepper and grill/broil for about 4 to 5 minutes, keeping an eye on them so nothing burns. The asparagus should be bright green and the prosciutto crispy.
  5. Serve immediately.
