West Virginia Dept. of Agriculture seeking nominations for West Virginia Women in Agriculture program

CHARLESTON, W. Va. — The West Virginia Department of Agriculture is seeking nominations for the 2013 West Virginia Women in Agriculture program.

Deadline

Nominations are due by June 1, and those making the nominations are asked to provide as much detail about the nominee’s agricultural career as possible.

Induction is granted to those women who have made significant contributions to the establishment, development, advancement or improvement of West Virginia agriculture, forestry or specialty crops in the state. Biographies of the selected women will be featured during the 2013 State Fair of West Virginia.

Photo

A high-resolution photograph of the nominee is also required (no smaller than 5-by-7 inches), and a digital photo is preferred. The selected women will be contacted for more photos at a later date.
