Curious about the women who have made an impact on conservation throughout history? Join a Moraine State Park naturalist for a 2.5-mile hike on moderate terrain along the Glacier Ridge Trail while learning about some of America’s conservation leaders. This trail makes its way across Moraine’s North Shore, usually coinciding with the North Country Trail. On this section, the trails diverge. Embrace your inner history buff while on trail this Women’s History Month!

Meet at the east end of the 528 boat launch (either walk or drive under the bridge). Exit off Route 422 and turn north on Route 528, cross the lake and turn right into the “528 Launch.” Dress for the weather, wear sturdy footwear, and bring your own water and snacks for the trail.
