Ingredients:
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza crust
- 1 cup pizza cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
Sautéed Spinach Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 4 cups fresh baby spinach, clean
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 450 F.
- While the oven preheats, make the sautéed spinach. Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a medium-sized pan over medium-high heat. Add in the clove of minced garlic and stir for one minute. Then add in the spinach and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Sauté for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the spinach is wilted but still a vibrant green. Remove from heat and place the spinach into a colander in the sink or over a bowl, allowing excess liquid to drain.
- To assemble the pizza, place the crust on pizza pan and stretch to all edges. Bake in the oven for about 7 minutes. Remove from oven and brush lightly with olive oil.
- Top with spinach, cheese, and minced garlic. Sprinkle red pepper flakes as desired. Place pizza back in the oven and bake for 7 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
