Come on down to Salem Public Library on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 2-3pm to hear Salem’s own Oak Street String Band play Old Time American String Band Music in the library’s adult reading area. The group members are: Jan Douglass – guitar, banjo, vocals, Ann Hendel – banjo, guitar, vocals, Connie Price-fiddle, vocals – Dan Simms – mandolin, guitar. Don’t miss hearing the sweet sounds played by these talented musicians. You may even keep time with a little foot tapping! This hour of “A Little Live Music” is open to the public, free of cost to attend and no registration is required.
