The 2nd annual “Go Wild in the Park” Sled Run in planned for Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Kelley Park on Prospect Street in Salem, Ohio. To participate, design and build a person powered corrugated cardboard sled capable of withstanding the descent down the hill at Kelley Park.
Registration is now open and will remain open until 12:00pm on the day of the event. Registration forms and rules are available at Salem Public Library and the Salem Memorial Building or you may register online at www.salem.lib.oh.us .
Awards will be given for the sled that slides the longest distance measured from the starting point and for the best looking and/or most creative.
Make-up date for weather–related cancellation is set for Saturday, February 25, 2017.
