On Monday, March 1, 2016, Jodi McCullough of the Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society will present Star Struck – Identifying Stars, Planets and Constellations. This “Go Wild in the Park” program is sponsored by Salem Public Library and Salem Parks and Recreation Department and is free and open to the public.
The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. at pavilion #8 in Waterworth Memorial Park. Keep your fingers crossed for clear skies and mild temperatures but backup plans have been made to meet in the library’s Quaker Room in the event of bad weather.
