Take a trip back in time to explore the life of George Washington during the period of the French and Indian War at this “Live from Anywhere” series program to take place at Salem Public Library on April 27, 2017 from 6:30-7:30pm in the library’s Quaker Room. Fort Necessity National Battlefield, located near Farmington, PA is the content provider for this interactive video conference program. A park ranger from Fort Necessity National Battlefield, will provide an educational presentation on how Washington’s ambition, hard work, and experiences in the French and Indian War helped him mature into the man who became our nation’s first president. Attendees are encouraged to participate in the program discussion.
This program is open to the public and free of cost to attend. Registration is required and may be done online at www.salem.lib.oh.us, by calling the library at 330-332-0042 for registration assistance or by stopping in the library at 821 E. State St., Salem, OH.
