“Pop! Goes the Culture” Writing Workshop for students in grades 7-12 will meet on Feb. 7, 2017 from 4-5pm in Salem Public Library’s Quaker Room located at 821 E. State St., Salem, OH. Sponsored by the Kent State-Salem English Club and Salem Public Library the workshop will involve various elements of music, film and popular young adult novels.
Students will work at their own pace but will be provided with ample sources of inspiration and instruction for short stories, flash fiction or writing their own songs or movie scripts.
Join in the process of exploring the pop culture you like and learn how you can create some of your own!
