An informational session on solar electric and solar thermal technology will be held at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm in Canfield on Wednesday, October 7th from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Attendees will get an overview of how the technology really works in our climate via cited data from past area applications.
Four relevant case studies will be discussed to include a farm application, a small business installation, a residential set up and a government building application. Other topics on the agenda include applicable government incentives to include federal tax incentives and the Rural Energy for America Program or REAP grant.
