On September 2, 2015 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Salem Public Library will host a workshop presented by Christine Mabon titled “The Five Essential Friendships that Enrich Our Lives”. During the 90 minute workshop, which will take place in the library’s Quaker Meeting Room, Ms. Mabon will explore the significance of our essential friendships.

Following the sudden death of her husband in 2006, Ms. Mabon needed to create a new life for herself and her two sons. With time, love and continuing support from friends and family they found their footing and the ability to move forward. Through her workshops and writings she is now sharing the experiences that sustained her through the pain of loss in order to bring comfort and inspiration to others faced with loss and the challenge of finding new life.

Registration is required online at www.salem.lib.oh.us for the workshop which is open to the public and free of cost to attend. For registration assistance and further information please contact the library at 330-332-0042.
