Civil war service records now on the Internet

HARRISBURG, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Archives has added more than 400,000 Civil War Military Service Record Cards to the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission Web site.

Images of the original Civil War military service cards are now part of the Pennsylvania State Archives Digital Archives section at www.digitalarchives.state.pa.us.
