NEW PHILADELPHIA, Ohio – All beef and dairy producers in Tuscarawas County are encouraged to attend a Livestock Industry Update on July 9 at the Dutch Valley Restaurant at 7:30 p.m.
Bill Shulaw, Ohio State University Extension veterinarian, will provide an update about the recent Mad Cow outbreak and what is happening in the United States.
Gary Wilson, a Muskingum County beef producer, will discuss the Country of Origin Labeling and National Animal Identification programs.
The Tuscarawas County Cattle Association will provide coffee and pie for those attending. Preregistration is requested by July 7 and can be done by an e-mail to zoller.1@osu.edu or calling 330-339-2337.
