Library, YSU present panel on Underground RR

WARREN, Ohio – Youngstown State University will present a panel discussion on the Underground Railroad in cooperation with the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library Feb. 3.

The event will be at the library’s downtown Warren location, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., at 7 p.m.

As part of the university’s diversity program series, four panelists will talk on “Myths and Realities of the Underground Railroad in the Mahoning Valley.”

The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.

The library’s Sutliff Museum will open at 6 p.m. prior to the program. Many museum artifacts relate to the Sutliff family’s activity in the Underground Railroad movement. There is no admission.
