Ohio Hereford showmen compete

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Ohio Buckeye Junior Hereford Association Premier Show was June 21-22 in Mount Gilead, Ohio.

Exhibitors from across the state of Ohio exhibited 76 head of Hereford cattle before judge Josh Shriver of Junction City, Ohio.

Winners. Following is a list of Ohio show and contest winners

* Grand champion heifer and grand champion bred-and-owned heifer: Jessica Slone of West Manchester, with SA Chiquita Star by LLL Nuff Said 45H.

* Reserve grand champion heifer: Brooke Steiner of Mason, with NS Princess Devonia 211 by WNH NS Elixir.

* Reserve grand champion bred-and-owned heifer: Jessica Slone with SA Summer Rose by LLL Nuff Said 45H.

* Champion cow-calf pair: Michael Banks of Hamilton, with DJB 46B Beth 4L and a Feb. heifer calf by DJB SF Victor IlK.

* Grand champion bull: Wyatt Flatter of Yellow Springs, with FHF Nascar by Star Lake L I Domino 155 ET.

* Reserve grand champion bull: Kyndall Wiliams of Mount Gilead, with PK WMS 003 by Remitall Kootnay

* Champion steer: Cody Herman of Continental, with a 1,232 lb. steer.

* Reserve champion steer: Jenny Beanblossom of Bradford, with a 1,204 lb. steer.
