Penn State’s Nov. 8 webinar focuses on dairy housing ventilation

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — “The Aerial Environment: Fresh Air and Plenty of It” will be the topic of a free webinar offered by the Penn State Extension Dairy Team Nov. 8 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

The session is part of the webinar series’ cow-centered housing segment, which focuses on design and evaluation of dairy housing from the cow’s perspective, particularly as it relates to cow comfort and well-being.

Dan McFarland, Penn State Extension engineer, will present the program, along with Robert Graves, professor, Penn State Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering.

The webinar format permits participants to enjoy an educational program, in real-time, on their office computer or laptop.
