NEWBURY, Ohio — The next meeting of the Breeders and Feeders 4-H club is Aug. 10 at Memory Lake at Claridon Troy Road Drive.

Those attending are asked to meet at 1 p.m. and bring a dish to pass for picnic. Swimming will follow the meeting.

Members must have 4-by-6 market project pictures at this meeting, and members are asked to email beef animals’ names as soon as possible.

The market broiler projects are up significantly and pen space is at a premium. Members taking production hens, pullets and fancy poultry may have birds that are in junior fair only, junior fair and open class, or only open class.

To ensure each bird is only assigned to one pen, members must indicate which birds are fancy or production junior fair entries only by Aug. 8.
