Trumbull library workshop digs into preserving historical photos

WARREN, Ohio – In partnership with the Society of Ohio Archivists, the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. NW, will host two archives workshops on Monday, Oct. 21.

From 9 a.m. to noon, participants will attend a program on the basics of MARC cataloging for archives and manuscripts.

From 1-4 p.m., a workshop on recognizing and preserving historical photographs will be offered.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own curiosities to share.

Public interest. Cost for each session is $20. Lunch is on your own. The workshops are open to the public but would be of special interest to historians, students and genealogists.
