- 4 medium apples, cored and sliced
- 1/4 water
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 4 1/2 teaspoons liquid sweetener
- 1/2 flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 grated Cheddar cheese
Preheat oven to 350°. Place sliced apples in deep pie plate or shallow baking dish. Combine water, lemon juice and sweetener; pour over apples. Combine flour, salt and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is consistency of coarse meal. Sprinkle over apples. Cover with grated cheese. Bake (covered) 30 to 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
