Holiday Egg Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 8 count can jumbo biscuits
  • 1 cup bulk sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup milk, room temperature
  • To taste salt and pepper

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.
  2. Line the bottom of a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish with biscuit dough, firmly pressing to seal and make a bottom crust. Sprinkle sausage and cheese over the crust.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt and pepper until blended. Pour over sausage and cheese.
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until set and middle does not jiggle.
  5. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm.
