Island Energy Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) bag miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup sesame seed
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 3 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 cup Macadamia nuts or cashews
  • 1 cup raisins

Directions

Toast oats and sesame seed in skillet, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes or until lightly browned. Melt marshmallows, peanut butter and margarine over medium heat, stirring constantly. Add oats, sesame seed and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Press into 9×13-inch pan. Cool and cut into bars. Makes 48 bars
