Peanut Butter Ice Cream



  • 1/2 pint double (heavy) cream
  • 1/2 pint single (light) cream
  • 2 oz. sugar
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter (chunky or smooth – your choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Directions

    Place cream, sugar and peanut butter into small to medium saucepan and heat gently, stirring all the time while heating. When smooth and sugar has all dissolved, remove saucepan and leave mixture to cool. When cool, gently stir in vanilla extract. Transfer mixture into an ice cream maker and freeze following manufacturer?s instructions.
