Governor Mike DeWine signs House Bill 201, prohibiting local governments from placing bans on natural gas vehicles and charging residents for megaprojects.

It’s not easy for rural residents who already buy into all the benefits renewables, electric vehicles and energy efficiency have to offer. For those who are less willing, or less able, it could be impossible, at least without help.

As electric vehicles become more commonplace and affordable, it begs the question when will electric tractors and other farm equipment become a reality in ag states like Ohio? Major manufacturers like John Deere and Kubota are working up prototypes, but there are still many challenges ahead.

Driving PA Forward-funded chargers have been installed by companies, organizations and residential complexes at more than 300 locations in 39 counties. More than half the chargers were installed at public places.

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection announced more than $900,000 in grant funding for project expanding electric vehicle use statewide.
